I was shocked to discover
that my current TTLB Ecosystem ranking is 340! I had been hovering around 1000 for
some time. I think Blog Explosion
has a lot to do with my jump in traffic. I suppose most of my BE visitors just wait
the minimum 30 seconds and click to see the next blog (as I typically do), but I’ve
noticed some are linking to me. Exposure is a good thing. 🙂 So now that I’m moving
up in the world (I even got a pat on the back from Joshua Claybourne!), I wonder
if I’ll be given the honor of being mentioned in the St.
Blog’s drinking game or receiving a Blogtone
from Victor Lam.

I didn’t like trolls when I dabbled in Usenet, nor did I like them back in IRC‘s hayday. I’m even less fond of them when they pontificate in my comments. >:{
On the other hand, attracting gadflies could be taken as a sign of moving up in the blogosphere.

There might be more laws someday. I wouldn’t hold my breath, though. 😉

Ain’t search
engines great? They help us find so many things. Then again, sometimes they can
really take you down the garden path. Exhibit A – some of the top search phrases
that have brought people here (or to my defunct address):
bumfights, bush eats pubes, nigerian porn artist, YEMENI PORN MOVIES
I get an additional chuckle knowing that by putting these words in a post I’m increasing
the chances that they’ll draw people here again. 😉
