The Future of Pundit Blogging
Joe Carter, of The Evangelical Outpost plays Nostradamus (or at least Miss Cleo) and attempts to describe what post-election blogging might be like.
"Without the election and with people losing interest in reading about the minutia of the war on terrorism, many of these blogs will likely lose a significant portion of their audience."
I try to limit the amount of political content on this blog, but it’s hard to avoid it completely. I was blogging long before this election season and I hope to be blogging long after. If I lose some audience, c’est la vie.
Blogging 101
Simon World has a great post on the basics of blogging. If you’re looking for a text book treatment, look somewhere else. If you want boot camp, this might be more your style. Jollyblogger sums it up well:
"[H]e’s got a lot of good tips and it is worth your while to read this thing and follow his advice. Well, follow his advice, but I think it goes without saying that those of us in the Blogdom of God don’t want to be following his advice to talk about our sex lives or use porn to attract visitors."
If you’ve been thinking about blogging, but want to know what you’re getting into first, give "Everything you wanted to know about blogging but were afraid to ask" a read. You’ll either want to start a blog ASAP or be scarred for life.
The Spam Gene
The Human Genome Project may end up helping in the fight against spam.
On a related note, a new spam firewall has been developed.

Stumbling Around the Web
Thanks to ZuDFunck, I discovered a cool browser tool called StumbleUpon.
StumbleUpon is an intelligent browsing tool for sharing and discovering great websites. As you click Stumble!, you'll get high-quality pages matched to your personal preferences. These pages have been explicitly recommended (rated I like it) by friends and other SU members with similar interests. Rating these sites shares them with your friends and peers you will automatically 'stumble upon' each others favorites sites.
Here are some cool sites I find suring my stumbles this afternoon:
