Christian Carnival 50

The
50th Christian Carnival is up at Mediasoul
. There are three post hoc categories,
“Most Wonderful Gifts”, “From Passion to Action”, and “New
Year/Old Year”. Stacy got the name of my blog wrong and assumed Ales Rarus
was also my pseudonym (perhaps it should be), but she did a fantastic job overall
on a difficult task (almost 40 submissions!). Go check it out!

[Stacy fixed the mistakes. – Funky]

Hiatus

I’m visiting my in-laws for a week, so I might not post anything until I return.
I might try to remotely post, but there’s no guarantee that’ll work for the whole
week (unsolved network glitch).

Steve and Jerry are free to post as usual. Keep it clean, though, Steve. I can’t
modify posts remotely.

In case I don’t post until the 4th, I now wish you all blessed and happy New Year
celebrations. Have fun and drink responsibly. 🙂

Thank you all for making this a great blogging year. Without you guys, I’d just
be some opinionated nut pontificating to an audience of one. Gee, kinda sounds like
Air America, doesn’t it? 😉

Goodbye

“Did you cry out for anyone?
Did you get to say goodbye?
Did the blood dried on your face,
did you cry out for any one?
Did you get to say goodbye?”
– from “Say Goodbye” by Brother

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May all the souls of those who died in the Indian Ocean earthquake, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
May the Lord bless and keep the loved ones of the deceased.
May He shine His face upon them.
May He lift up His countenance upon them and give them peace.
Amen
