Yeah, that thing about men and women actually being different (gasp!) is interesting. I got smacked down in an undergraduate paper once because I suggested that men and women have actual differences aside from the shapes of their bodies. Nice to see some scientific vindication.

Posted 06 Jun 2006 at 10:51 pm ¶Stew Smith is actually a pretty cool guy - I worked out with him once, a few years ago. I still do supersets while watching tv because of him.
His article on the priest who (while starting 80 lbs overweight) trained with him to become a Navy chaplain is neat - plenty of guys half that priest's age can't match the PT scores he finally achieved. Just goes to show what a little dedication will do for someone's fitness…

Posted 06 Jun 2006 at 11:41 pm ¶Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the Sao Paulo skyline either. Too congested, and not enough definition in the line itself. Perhaps they could have chosen a nicer angle? But there still wouldn't be anything distinctive to catch the eye…
