Don't Blame Me, I Voted For Ales Rarus!

It was rigged! I demand a recount! I'm taking this to the Supreme Court!

Not. ;)

I'd like to thank everyone who voted for this in the 2005 Wizbang Weblog Awards. We didn't win, but we made a good showing. Maybe next year we'll take home the trophy. ;)

I'd also like to thank all of my guest bloggers, frequent commenters, and lurking readers, without whom this would just be cranky ol' me pontificating to crickets.

Be sure to visit my worthy competitors. Also, check out Radical Civility. The blogger there has been reviewing the finalists for Best Religious Blog.

Stay tuned for the 2006 Catholic in January…

I voted and it looks like many other folks did too.

That's a great showing. Think of it as your awareness year.

Next year, after having gained the notoriety of being a finalist, you'll likely find yourself among the giants of religious blogging. So take heart and look ahead.

I voted for Ales Rarus about 30 times, which is not as many times as I could have with 2 separate IPs at work plus one at home. I did hit 'Gelical Outpost by mistake once…. Sorry! Yeah, better "luck" next time… ([thinks] gotta get more IP addresses).

I thought about that. I'm not sure how the system worked, but I might have been able to "game" it.

But this was a vote for a religious blog! So I didn't try to see if I could mess with the system.

I did think about it, though….

Good job. You came on strong in the second half of voting — the first time I voted, you were at, I think, 9th, and finished 7th.
