I just got back a little while ago from seeing a band play at Penn Brewery. They're called Corned Beef and Curry and they're a lot of fun. They play a mix of pop and rock covers and Irish folk tunes. A buddy of mine a coworker of one of the band members, Bob Banerjee. Fans of Gaelic Storm might recognize him from the 14 month tour he did with them (playing lead violin).
They play at Penn Brewery on the first Friday of every month. Go see them. You won't regret it.

I don't know about a band with that name, lol, but Gaelic Storm is one I can get behind. If they're related & you say it's cool, I might check it out!
Thanks for the tip
(know Glengarry boys?)

Thanks for the exceedingly kind things you said about the Corned Beef & Curry Band. We strive to let our audiences have as good a time as we do in many different kinds of venues. The greatest gift a musician can have is to have their gifts so appreciated that it would even make God smile. I hope you and your readers will continue to share in the musical passions of our band and the many others who love to play, dance and sing in promoting the most universal way of communication…
See you next month!
