Why Does Google Hate Me?

Who do I have to bribe to get Ales Rarus listed in Google?!? I’ve submitted this site numerous times to no avail. I even have Google ads in my sidebar (Please click a few ads, BTW.). My old address on my Pitt account still comes up as the number one hit for “Ales Rarus”. Nothing I do seems to demote that site and promote this one. Arrrrrrgh!!!

I’m also listed by other search engines, such as Yahoo and MSN (which is being uncooperative in a typical M$ way right now).

It looks like you have sensible metadata for robots. But is there a sitewide robots.txt that stops search engines?

Also have you tried reporting it to google?

Without me doing anything but a link from my blog http://42.blogs.warnock.me.uk to my sons new blog at http://ablog.warnock.me.uk google had picked it up within 48 hours.

So my guess is your server is blocking or in someway google is rejecting the site. It will need follow-up as it seems too long for it to be just a wait for google to get around to your site.

I’m with blogger so Google automatically picks myblogs up…gotta say though it took a while :)

BTW…do you have outward and inward links?

That will tend to bump you up the search engines…

    Good luck

    :)

    Until I moved UnSpace from:

    to

Google wouldn’t touch me. I own the whole domain. Now I’m the King of UnSpace!

I really should pull down the old versions. A lot of work, though.
