Christian Carnival 45

The forty-fifth Christian Carnival is up at CowPi Journal. The post hoc theme is "The Three Dimensions of Spirituality: Vertical, Horizontal/Outward, and Inward", i.e. the connection between you and God, the connection between you and other people, the connection with yourself. There are thirty-seven entries this week. Go check them out. When you're done, think about submitting a post of your own. If you're , think about submitting to the Catholic Carnival, too(You can send the same post to both).

Your Latin skills obviously far exceed mine. The 10 credits I took 3 years ago are showing their rustiness. ;)

Thanks for the correction. I'm out of town, but when I get back to my apartment, I'll fix it. :)

Where, O where, is Funky? Thanksgiving break, I guess…

In the meantime, I'd really like to know if you guys or any of your gentle readers out there have pondered (or seen others so ponder) the number of degrees of separation between blogs.

For example, I might click on someone listed by Funky (degree 1). Then I may thence click to someone listed there (degree 2). If I click carefully, I'm likely to end up (in just 2 easy clicks) somewhere that has absolutely no kinship, affinity, or relevance to this fine blog. [In fact I may just end up at a place where the corporate warning page comes up instead!!!]

Certainly, there are bloggers out there who do not list many if at all, and others who (for various reasons) are not listed by others.

But let's simply ask: What is the mean (or median) number of clicks to reach 90% of the blogosphere?

Okay it's the lapsed social studies teacher in me…

    Cheers!

Considering how polarized the American political blogs tend to be, I'd imagine that it'd take a rather large number of clicks to reach even 10%.
