In the meantime, I'd really like to know if you guys or any of your gentle readers out there have pondered (or seen others so ponder) the number of degrees of separation between blogs.
For example, I might click on someone listed by Funky (degree 1). Then I may thence click to someone listed there (degree 2). If I click carefully, I'm likely to end up (in just 2 easy clicks) somewhere that has absolutely no kinship, affinity, or relevance to this fine blog. [In fact I may just end up at a place where the corporate warning page comes up instead!!!]
Certainly, there are bloggers out there who do not list many if at all, and others who (for various reasons) are not listed by others.
But let's simply ask: What is the mean (or median) number of clicks to reach 90% of the blogosphere?
Okay it's the lapsed social studies teacher in me…
