Gutsy? Yes. Admirable? I Don't Think So.

I understand why those rightly decrying the evils of radical Islam would find the Apostates of Islam satisfying to see. However, there are peaceful Muslims in this world, and I don't think this site is particularly respectful to them. How would we like to see a website called Apostates of ? (Fedora Tip: Mark Shea)

I read the bottom of their webpage and can't stop smilling at what I saw…they don't consider Nation of Islam Apostates true apostates!

You can't make this stuff up.

Well, to be fair, calling NoI apostates true Islamic apostates would be like calling former members of Catholics For Free Choice or some similarly heretical organization true Catholic apostates. You can't leave an organization you were n't properly part of at the time of departure.

There are sites like this on apostate Christians. I personally don't lose sleep over them.

I wish you could see it from where I stand. Even after leaving their respective religions they still feel it necessary to put a disclaimer on their frontpage that they are not the same as the NoI apostates. I find that very funny.

Shouldn't it be "Diablo", not Diabos, by the way?

Oh, I see the humor in it. ;) I also see where they're coming from, though. Leaving Islam because of Bin Laden and his ilk is bit more serious than leaving NoI because of Farrakan (sp?) and his ilk.

Em portuguese e diabo, nao e "Diablo".

Although my Portuguese is so bad I should probably check.
