Negative Correlation Between Foul Moods and Daily Mass Attendence?

For a couple months I was very good about getting out of bed in time to attend 8:15 AM daily mass. It was a great way to start my day. Then various aspects of life interfered and I began to make excuses for missing it. I haven't been to daily mass more than a handful of times in the last couple months and I think it's affecting my mood. I've been really grouchy and short-tempered lately and I've also had trouble fighting my usual temptations. Sure, the correlations might be coincidental, but what if they're not? I've been depriving myself of the abundant graces offered in the mass for too long. Pray that I shake off my slothfulness tomorrow and give my soul the nourishment it needs.

You got it, man. If you could shoot up a prayer for my own daily Mass attendance too, that'd be great.

also, it could be the same factors whcih cause you to not have time for mass increase your overall stress, which leads to grumpiness.

Most likely a combination of the two.

i was gonna ask recently how things were going. i guess that answered it. i'll keep praying for your faith. i do think that there is a correlation. the graces that you receive in Holy Communion pour out into your daily life. after i finish this novena of Holy Communions, i want you to borrow it.

tom, i'll keep the prayers for you (among other things, that you will grow closer to God) going as well.

both of you, if you haven't already been today, there's always the 9:30pm :) i'll be there.

Our parish use to have a 5:30 p.m mass that I loved to attend, but alas, with the new baby and the other kids, 8:00 a.m. just ain't gonna happen for us in the winter time! I feel your pain. :)
