This may or may not remind you of the dearly departed former PA Governor Bob Casey, who did catch some heat from fellow Democrats about his
opposition to abortion. Back in 1992, he was to be a keynote speaker at the party convention, but was reportedly shuffled off the schedule for not promising to avoid comment on these views. His son, of course ran in the last gubernatorial election against Ed ("I never told my limo driver to break the speed limit") Rendell. Sadly, there just isn't much
tolerance in the Democratic party for differing views on abortion — though being from the South may help in Vaughn's case.
