Larry Flynt is a poor excuse for a human being. I don't care how you feel about Bill O'Reilly; wishing someone dead is awful. Furthermore, praying to God for it is blasphemous. Such a prayer coming from the man behind a smutty porn rag just makes it worse.

This reminds me of that tacky calendar I blogged about some time back. Why do people insist of being so vulgar? Is it blaspemy? I don't know. Is it rude, crude, and in poor taste? Definitely.

September’s Virgin Mary is suckling a child, while March depicts a raven-haired nude washing a woman’s toes in a pose evocative of Mary Magdalene, the prostitute who anointed Jesus’s feet.

For the glamour photographer who took them, they are just an innovative new take on Italy’s Christmas obsession for calendars featuring buxom nudes. But for a vocal minority in the country the 12 scenes inspired by the life of Christ are blasphemous monstrosities.
