The flurry of commenting activity you may have noticed is due to my rescue efforts. I’ve restored all the original mail-in comments. I just need to fix the dates. Then I’ll see if my old BackBlog comments still exist.
Update 03/28/06: All of the mail-in and BackBblog comments have been restored. If anyone has a perverse desire to read what (little) people were saying in the early days of this blog, I encourage them to take a walk through the archives. 🙂
I think it’s about time parishoners in St. Blog’s created a new version of the St. Blog’s drinking game. The Catholic sector of the blogosphere has changed suffieciently to warrant it. Here’s my suggestion for the first new rule:
Take a drink whenever Mark Shea uses the word "agitprop". Chug if he engages in debate with pro-torture folks or Andrew Sullivan.

Addendum 2: This meant to be fun, so don’t be mean. Also, though some bloggers have really active and interesting comment sections, try to keep the focus on the blogger him/herself.
Some posts are worth reminding people about ad nauseum. Take the Curt Jester post, “Liturgy for Ignoramuses”, for instance. It’s destined to be a classic of the Catholic blogosphere. Go check it out and tell Jeff I sent ya. 😉
Ugh. The Blogdom of God TTLB community has been stalled since Feb. 12. Bear’s great and I really appreciate the work he’s done with the Truth Laid Bear ecosystem, but he really needs to get some folks to help him. He’s waaaaaaay behind on his support tickets.
The Catholic Blog Awards voting is over and apparently I’m neither the most bizarre nor the most creative blogger in St.. Blog’s. 😉 Oh well, there’s alway’s next year. Maybe this year’s content will earn me a 2007 nomination in a more substantial category. Anyhow, thank you to all who voted for me. Leave a comment so I know who you are. 🙂
