I think it’s a lot like distributing abandonware
games. If a game is no longer being sold, who’s being hurt by its free distribution?
If anything, it helps companies by sustaining interest in their products.

Anyhow, thinking about finding old LP gems reminds me that one of these days I need
to rescue some tunes from my mom’s old Christmas records. Most were department store
promotional items and contain tracks released nowhere else or at least neigh impossible
to find.
