Once, when his employer sent him to Mozambique on business, Lehmans,47, took a handful of tranquilizers to get through his yellow fever immunization. ‘My dentist uses hypnosis,’ he says. ‘If he didn’t, all my teeth would be gone now.’ So when Lehmans heard he could get flu vaccine by a squirt up the nose instead of a needle, he raced to a clinic in Detroit to get it.”

Toga party marks ‘Animal House’ anniversary

“COTTAGE GROVE, Oregon (AP) — They put a wrecking ball through the building that was Delta House in the classic comedy ‘Animal House,’ so what’s left?”

“Toga! Toga! Toga! Fans of the film broke out the robes Saturday at a town-sponsored toga party, intended to be the world’s largest, to mark the 25th anniversary of the film, which was made in Cottage Grove and Eugene.”

I doubt this will be profitable, but I admire the effort.

Rival to the Xbox or ‘Phantom’ menace?

“(CNN) — A few weeks ago a new game console was unveiled on the Web called Phantom. Its developer, Infinium Labs, promises it will be the ‘must-have high performance game console,’ and that the Phantom will provide ‘more access to more games of every genre than any competing product,’ all ‘with blazing speed.'”

Most college students are familiar with the experience of filling out professor evaluation forms. They also probably don’t think they’re very useful, especially since they can’t see the tallied results. Well someone has finally put that power into students’ hands.
