It's not because I agree with all, or even most, of his views. It's because I trust him. I'm not naive. I know that the most ideologically consistent candidates in the major party field couldn't get half of their agendas passed even if elected, but I would at least know where they stood (as opposed to only having a cosmetic set of positions based on polling). I'll take that any day of the week.
