		<description>I was working with Homeland Security on Real ID when I was at the Dept of Transportation.  While on the one hand it would be a little more convenient to have an ID that is easily recognized no matter what state I'm in (I live in a tri state area plus trips to PA), the down side would be when I get a speeding ticket in PA, VA or DC, it would show up on my MD record.  

In any case I don't see how Real ID cannot be considered an unfunded mandate (don't quote me on that, its just my personal opinion), and I don't see how it would survive a court challange but I'm not the first to raise that question so we will see how this plays out.</description>
