Hey, some of us are Calvinist Evangelical R...Democrats...oh, yeah. Never mind!

I would change your blog all around, but as you've seen from UnSpace, that just seems to be the mood I'm in.

Seriously, I'd leave it the same. It's a good thing you done, Anthony! A good thing!

Funky Dung,
Pretty new to your blog and enjoy the content but personally I think the design makes it a little unfriendly to the eye, hence harder to read. It's a bit crowded and the font and colors tend to blur after reading for a bit. However, if you decide to leave it as is, I don't think you're going to lose any readers because of it. Keep up the good work.
Christopher

Like most: my link in your sidebar -- but seriously, I most enjoyr the unique angles on current events from a religious perspective (but you probably already knew that).

Like least: infrequency of posts (come on, it's not like you have a wife or post-graduate work to distract you from the all-important blogging, right?)

And to echo (kind of, at least) the previous commenter, I could do without the background, but if it has your undying loyalty, I can live with it, I guess...

You do have an awful lot of links, images, and stuff that need to download before the page works or renders correctly. This is true both at work where I have a T1 and (a bit moreso) at home with DSL. I'm not sure what is causing it. There are others' sites that have oodles of stuff to download too, but I do not notice the signicant increment to download time with them. It may be that just a couple of the external loads are an slowish servers...

But this is a minor nit. I think you have a pretty good blog Eric... otherwise I wouldn't come around here... or post from time to time.

The background appears (to me) to be a close (but not precise) facsimilie of the vatican's (www.vatican.va) wallpaper... so in that sense it is a sensible choice!
