Did you really think a line like the one above would not be offensive to someone?
Almost every time I check your blog there is something that angers me. I remember you once called myspace a crappy service. I don't even use myspace much but was offended on behalf of anyone who might like it.

But I do recognize you have been trying to get better about that for some time, and have made a good deal of personal growth in that dept.

In the Army that is refered to as "terminal candor." Having been a fellow suffer, I had quite a bout when I was younger. It took time, but I managed to learn to avoid most instances of "Foot in mouth" disease.

I'll grant ya the first one, but I think the second is a fair evaluation of services and technology. It's like calling Ford Pintos, Chevy Corvairs, or Edsels crappy cars.

I'm offended by your insinuation that anything you (and by extension anyone else) might've said that offends someone else warrants an apology.

Of course, if by "apology" you mean: I'm terribly sorry that you're offended but you deserve worse and hopefully you'll get your act together someday, well then… that's okay!

I'm offended that you'd throw Edsels into the same category as the Pinto or Corvair. The Pinto was a genuine piece of crap: get rear-ended and your car is a can of nitroglycerine. My dad's first car was a Corvair. . . according to him, with all the weight being in the trunk because of the rear engine, you'd have to take corners at 10 mph or you'd oversteer and end up on the sidewalk.

The Edsels, on the other hand, were genuinely nice cars, without mechanical problems, that simply didn't sell well.
