What a bunch of crap. I bet more people'd listen to the radio if they played music.

That said, I can't believe you like WMMR more than WYSP. They had the most awful DJs, people like irritating Donyelle Flynn and washed-up hippie Pierre Robert (although he was known to slip in the occasional Sinatra tune, so that's cool, I guess) I swear, WMMR played the same 20 songs all the time. After hearing "Sweet Child of Mine" and "Photograph" twice a day each, I just had to switch.

Bear in mind that I last listened to MMR consistently about 11 years ago, when I was still in high school. I don't think John Debella (sp?) had moved to YSP at that point. Also, they used to play more classic rock, whereas YSP played too much new crap. I guess a lot's changed in 11 years.

Good news. The local change is set to stay "Active Rock". However, this is they same crew that flushed a heritage CHR so I would not put anything past them.

KDKA FM could happen one of these days!

there are stations without morning shows. the one i knew about was the mountain 99.5 KQMT in denver/boulder/golden. it was perfect when i had 7:30am class. all music, all the time…and good music at that now, if only some stations in pittsburgh would pick up on the idea.
