I went to the local Bucks County meeting last week, and I was impressed by the cross-section of political thought that was represented, as well as by the effectiveness of the group's focus (zooming in on the pay issue, and not letting other issues divide the campaign). It's by far the most non-partisan atmosphere I've ever encountered at a decidedly political event.

There were about fifteen of us at a relatively non-hyped local gathering, but from what I hear the western part of the state has really been on fire about this issue, so a more centrally-located event like the one in Harrisburg is bound to get a good turnout. Several of the folks at the local meeting were discussing plans to attend.
