From my perspective- blogrolling is the link listing of choice.

So with "Ales Rarus" you'd probably be at the top of the alphabetical listings.

Only thing is... you get someone with a super long blogroll, what will people do? Look for links that appear interesting, on virtue of name only. FunkyDung might win that race on certain blogs and sites, Ales Rarus might on certain other blogs and sites.

So, what kinds of sites are you mostly being linked at?

I get linked as Ales Rarus, which is what I want, so not problem there. The issue usually comes up when people respond to my posts on their own blogs. Naturally, they write about me in the third person in order to respond to my points. Frequently, though, they call me "Ales Rarus"/"Ales" rather than "Funky Dung"/"Funky" or "Eric Williams"/"Eric".

I used to refer to you as Funky Dung, only because I couldn't tell if you wanted your name to become the focal label. As far as that goes, I generally thought of pseudonyms as only being for those of us who don't offer our real names.

Come to think of it, in honor of my preference, I'll drop the "h2" label in favor of my actual name, for this comment at least…

Or, if you really like Funky Dung, you could put a by-line at the top of the blog so that everyone knows that Funky Dung does the writing.

Yeah, that was my problem. I didn't know that Funky Dung was the same as Ales Rarus for the longest.
