Geez…c'mon now, Funky, I don't see anything wrong with that picture. I was going to petition Fr. David to change to a Mass like that. I figured it was just his style.

I was just reading through these myself since the e-mail appeared in my inbox and thought, gee, I should send these to Eric, only to find you already had them. Guess I should have known.

If you mean that they're facing ad orientem, I'd have to disagree. I suspect that the congregation is actually around or behind the camera, so the priest is actually versus populum

Well… I'll say I agree… because I know all of these things are important… but I'll offer that it's hard to find a parish that has all 23. Of the parishes that I ever attended more than, say, five times and got to know something about them, I'd say they all score about a 20.
It's funny, though, because if I had to rank them, the ones that are most important to me are all the ones that were lacking in at least one of the parishes I thought about.
