Because the Ecosystem has been in update mode for a few days, I wouldn't assume you'll stay at the level you're at right now. I shot up about 50 links after shooting way down for a bit while this was updating, and it hasn't done a normal update since then. I know of at least a few other blogs that did that too. It remains to be seen whether these changes are permanent or just a side-effect of the process of site the maintenance. A week ago I was at #10 due to the site maintenance then, and that only lasted a few hours before I shot down to my usual 150. I'm in the 90s right now, and I doubt it will last.

I guess I'll just have to look more closely at my traffic logs to see who actually visits, as opposed to just having me in the BoG blogroll.

I just posted about the fact that all these links seem to be connected to traffic. We are now pulling more hits to the blogdom blogs than instapundit gets!

People do follow the links they see in the B of G blogroll- I guess they must randomly click on the links.

I am sure that some of your new found links come also from your own Apostolic Aggregator. Suddenly, people who read your blog willl have been pushed into linking "have you seen the new aggregator run by Aereus....."

The Alliance doesnt manipulate the TLB since the TLB exists to track peoples links and the Aliance adds links so people in it SHOULD be higher up the listings.

It pleases me that Christian blogs are being linked to and visited more. After all hopefully the Christian blogs will have a more helpful message to the average reader both Christian and non-christian.

Anyway your blog deserves more exposure!

No, the Ecosystem also ranks blogs according to traffic, and that list is very different in its order. Many sites with lots of links don't get much traffic. This is the case with many Blogdom of God blogs, since almost everyone links to almost everyone else, and hardly anyone has the time to look at most of the sites they link to if they use the full blogroll.

Many sites with lots of traffic don't get many links. This is the case with many political forums where people go there as a sort of community and most don't have blogs of their own, like Democratic Underground, moveon.org, and World Magazine.

Since the Ecosystem is down right now, I can't look for the link to that, but there's a link for it on the main Ecosystem page.

Sorry, I got this wrong having forgotten what I actually found! There are more LINKS than to instapundit, and the traffic of the group of blogs is up to a third of his levels.

TTLB was set up to track influence and popularity, but it's only means of trackings such things is through incoming links. That's a flaw of the system, I suppose, and that it may or may not rank blogs accurately in order of popularity or influence really isn't your problem.

In fact, I think any exposure you can garner for yourself and many of your linked blogs would be a relatively good thing.

After all, there is far too much out there that gets attention for far less honorable reasons.
