Hey there Funky. Just browsing by and thought I've noticed before that you're in Pittsburgh, with this post I decided to just comment on it. I lived in Pittsburgh for 7 years in O'Hara Township with my late husband before we moved down to Florida to be with my family. My oldest son is named after his late father and both of them were born in Pittsburgh at Allegheny General Hospital...as a matter of fact, the late and great Dr. James Gilmore was the head of obstetrics there at the time and he was my late husband's uncle. I think they even named a new wing after him. A very good and holy man, although the Gilmores are Presbyterian, my dh converted in 1988 before his death in 1993. He had MS and is buried in Homewood Cemetary now. My former in-laws still live there in Fox Chapel. He was an orthopedic surgeon before retiring. I used to work for a group of five Jewish oral surgeons in Oakland, right on Forbes Avenue across from McGee Women's Hospital for a number of years before I moved offices to Central Medical Pavillion downtown at some point. Pittsburgh's a cool town. I have fond memories.
